Matt could hear a girls voice, giggling in the distance.

"Kaitlyn, is that you babe?"

He got no answer.

He asked again and again but still no answer. Suddenly the giggling stopped and all that could be heard was the ticking of the grandfather clock found in the hallway.

Then there were footsteps, he could hear them traveling down the stairs.

BANG! CRASH! POOF! KAPOW!

Matt quickly turned towards the stairwell.

There was Kaitlyn, lying on the stairs all tangled up in a string of fairy lights.

"I was trying to suprise you baby" She said while she was helped up.

Matt smiled. "You did suprise me sweetie, you always suprise me with the way you love me, I never have had it before, and it feels so special"

Kaitlyn blushed while brushing herself off and smiled.

"Thats why I love you"

"Thats why I love you back" she heard in return.
